I am in my early 30s, and after quitting smoking for the 2012/2013 new year I started to get fit and do cardio to shed about 60-70lbs. After spending jan-march of 2013 modifying my meals for the long term, and partially for the lungs to heal a bit from 10+ years of smoking I started walking/hiking/short distance jogging one the weather got above 40 degrees. Fast forward to December of 2013 and about 65 lbs lost, I decided to pursue a junior high regret...I broke past all my social barrier and what not to try out for Semi-Pro football. (long back story there) I began training with them from January '14 to beginning of april '14 but because of my newness to the sport and my overall lack of knowledge I didn't make the roster this year. I asked all the coaches what can I do to improve for 2015, and 2/5 said bulk up. I checked out our current roster and all the guys that are in receiver / tight end positions and my height are 190-210lbs. So that's what my goal is for the most part. General body muscle bulking up for the next season in January and beyond that probably just keeping fit and working towards that I feel good when naked feeling.
