Do I need to take a BCAA supplement, or are the BCAAs in my protein enough?

By Scott Herman in Supplements · Published

Some PROTEIN POWDERS, whey especially, often include BCAAs.

However, they are tied to other amino acids, and take longer to be absorbed into your bloodstream.

BCAAs alone as a separate supplement are not tied to other amino acids, and get absorbed quicker.

To increase your PROTEIN synthesis and to get more out of your workout, taking a BCAA supplement is advised, but not necessary.
