I have now been working out seriously for about 8 months now. My weight was 225 when I started exercising and i currently weigh 195. Over the last one or two months I have not lost any weight and it seems like i have plateaued.

My diet currently consists of 2 hard boiled egg whites in the morning for breakfast, Usually lean meat, vegetables for lunch with an orange, blue berries, black berries and raspberries. I also try to get some fats at lunch by eating almonds. I eat similarly for dinner usually meat and vegetables. My weight has not changed much at all over the last few months.

I exercise usually 5 days a week, start with cardio on the stair master, then lift weights. I will really appreciate any help in getting through this plateau to continue progressing on loosing weight. My end goal is to weigh around 180lbs. Using the meal planner on the site it lists my macros as following.

Calories: 2052, Protein: 205grams a day, Fat: 61grams, Carbs: 171 grams

Thank you so much

Hey @hminha3.

The first thing I noticed is that you said you do cardio before you lift weights - try doing cardio AFTER your weight training. This way you can give as much energy as possible toward building muscle, and then do cardio after to try and burn some fat.

Have you been consistently decreasing your calories week-to-week, month-to-month as you've progressed through your weight loss? Because your calories look low enough to be losing fat.

What kind of cardio are you doing? HIIT? LISS? How long are you doing cardio for each day?

Hi Scott thank you for your reply. I will perform cardio after lifting weights like you have suggested. When I decreased calories it was all of a sudden not gradually. For my cardio routine i Just do the stair master for 15 minutes at a steady one speed without increasing it or decreasing it, this is my only cardio routine for the day. Is there any other more effective method that you would recommend.
