Don't know where to start...

Need help and advice in terms of how to lose weight and gain muscle & strength.

Hello all!

I'm very new to this website and to weight loss in general. I think this is the right time to stop it right there and get right into it.

I'm 33 years old, 5'11 and I weight 380 lbs. I know, I'm big and extremely overweight. Weight has been a very big problem for me since my young ages. I'd like to change that, and 2017 is the year where this will end. I deserve better.

I've been preparing myself and doing some reading here in the forums and on the web, but can't really find the answer to what I really need. I've been thinking on following the meal plan and the macros to the letter, while doing the 12-week transformation program.

I was thinking on doing the Push, Pull, Legs program, was checking out the videos and I can do everything, except some of the things in the HIIT workout. What would you recommend I do in regards to HIIT... do a light version of the workouts or do a lighter HIIT instead?

Would any of you have some advice for me on how to get started?

Hey hey brotha!! Welcome to the site! We are the same age!! :-D

 

No matter how big or how small it is never too late and I am SO EXCITED you chose our community to make your gains!!!!

 

I think it is a great idea for you to start with PPL. You will build the foundational strength you need to do more advanced lifts in the future and as long as your meal plan is on point you should be ok. Did you download the @mealplan app yet?

 

As for the circuits... you should do them to the best of your ability. Don't worry about "keeping up" with me.. just stick to the time limits. Also, you can swap out some of those circuits for the ones here @exclusive.

 

You can also do some of the BeFit circuits as well for other options. You can find those in the ROUTINES section too or just ask for help :-D

 

Just NEVER be afraid to ask questions, that is why we are here :-D. Also, if you have specific questions abot routines in the programs... just post the question on the routine. :-D
