I have  a question (the one in the title), cause imagine this:

You train at night, you go home and take a pos-workout meal, and you go to sleep, but in the morning, you feel sick (for example, something was out of the time [i don't know how you say this in english, is just not good to eat]) and you vomit, does this mean that the meal and the workout, were for nothing? Did the body already absorbed the nutrients?

Also: When you sleep the blood circulates slower, you breath slower, so you absorb nutrients slower to?

p.s- sorry for bad english

I think that you are looking into this way tooo much. As long as you reach your protein, fat and carbs goal for the day, EVERYDAY, you will be fine. there is no massive difference that will affect you depending on the time you eat your food. Just dont eat RIGHT before you go workout as you will feel sluggish and tired because your body is trying to breakdown the food.

It typically takes the body 2 hours to digest and absorb the average meal. When you sleep, more blood is drawn to the digestiv systems so you actually can digest more faster than when you are awake.
