Hey! I'm 16 years old, 5'9, 121 pounds, 5.7% bf, looking to gain muscle. I've been lifting for about a year, but only started taking it seriously about a month ago. I followed Scott's video on macros, and here's what I got (rounding, and lowering carbs to a healthy amount):

Protein: 170g

Carbs: 250 grams

Fat: 60 grams

Total calories: 2500

Anyways, I started a plan about a week ago and it has been killing my muscles. So far it is great, even though I'm only in the prep phase. However, it starts out as a 4 day bro split and moves into 6 days hitting some of the days twice. I've heard that beginners should start with PPL. Would it be more beneficial to switch plans to a PPL or keep going with this one? I would prefer staying with this plan but I want whatever is the most beneficial. I'm new to these forums so hopefully this is posted in the right format and place. Thanks!

if your current plan is working ("killing my muscles") no need to change it. PPL is good but I wouldnt say it is the best program for every beginner ever, it will vary somewhat. I for instance did 3 days a week full body workouts when I started going to the gym and saw good results. So yes, stick to the plan, see where it takes you, if you dont like the results, switch it up.
