So I been doing a routine I found on bodybuilding but now but its boring and doesnt seem to challenge me. I been getting a lot stronger but ehh would like to push it harder. anyways  I got platium on here and want to do one of scotts programs. I am not sure what to choose between those two though.  I am leaning towards "Grow more muscle then ever before" But I am not to sure of the difference other then the type of work outs. My main goal is to loose fat and have a sexy body ready to show as I loose it.  last question would be how should I fit in cardio with these work out programs? Should I run everyday? and if I shouldn't run everyday would going on 10 mile hikes between running days be okay? anyways appericate any suggestions and hoping to start one tomorrow. Gaining muscle comes insanly easy to me but unfourntly I have thyriod issues so loosing wieght is a bitch.

(will be  uploading meal plan as well soon)

but its 2-3 eggs every morning and sometimes plain yogert

lunch: a bowl of spinach mixed with a (mushrooms, purple lettuce, pepers, jalepenos, broccoli, white broccoli, raddish, almond nuts, And a handful of meat) I also

use pure avacado oil as dressing

Dinner (same as lunch)

I also take Opti men multivitman, fish oils, and all the other stuff like protien powders after work outs.  But will upload/ update  to the exact micros tomorrow whne i wake up.

That seems like an extremely small amount of calories. How many calories is that ? Whats the macros (I saw you are going to upload it, im just asking sure you know what info we need) ? It is immensely important to eat enough calories when working out, even when you want to lose weight. This is beacuse if you eat to little and lose weight you will end up losing muscle aswell as fat since the body does not have enough to fuel itself to keep you alive. Please post calories and macros. We cant tell you how much cardio or training you should do without these numbers since training is completely dependent on calories. Also how much do you weigh, whats your bodyfat ?

Looking forward to seeing those numbers so we can help you further ! cool

So I just added up my macros using the meal plan app. I think the app is bugged because it won't show the foods listed for the day or the amounts of each macro but it still shows the total calories and my letter grade for each macro so I will just list that.

yeah you're right I am on the low end for calories and wasn't even aware of it till I imputed my daily diet. But I do have thyroid issues so it requires me to eat about 1/2 the calories that normal people eat  then do 10 mile hikes or running to lose minimal amounts of fat. Although the weird thing is that even with the low calorie intake that I have I am still gaining muscle rather quickly so I could only imagine how well it would be if I could eat normally. I am going to  try and see a doctor soon and get back onto thyroid medication so hopefully I can see more fat loss and can then eat normally. But anyways what would you then suggest out of those 2 work out plans? and how should I go about cardio? should it be daily running or every other day with hiking/walking between running days?

Also I am 6 feet 2 inchs

Weight 260

body fat 31% used both tape measuring and skulpt and both came with around that fat %

Ah I see, I dont have much experience with those types of issues. Well it is good to hear that you are still gaining muscle even though you eat a low amount of calories, if you are gaining that must mean your body is getting what it needs (at least in theory). I feel like push / pull / legs would be a nice alternative and when it comes to cardio I would suggest doing intenste HIT cardio for like 10-20 mins before a workout. I also love taking daily walks, so I would suggest to walk at least 40 mins pr walk and have at least one walk a day. Just try it out and see how it goes, hope it goes well with the doctor and the program, keep us posted so we can help you more if you need it ! cool

1648 is definitely on the low end. But you may actually have to eat at the low end if that works and you are not losing a lot of weight to fast. Since you are going to a doctor and he knows about the issues maybe tell him / her a bit about your macros ? A normal human male adult needs 2500 calories to maintain so about 100 calories less of that every week is great for losing weight. But of course because of your issues this may not be possible, take it up with the doctor and see. As mentioned I dont have a lot of experience with the issues you are having so I cant tell you all this for sure. I only hope that you are eating enough so you dont go hungry all day because that is not fun. You can still lose weight and not be hungry its all about getting enough fiber, fruits and veggies.

actually I don't get hungry or get cravings  really which is in part why my calorie intake is so low. And yeah the push, pull, legs looks good the deadlifts would be hard at my current gym cus of its size but I will prob be switching gyms anyways. And my last question would be is there actually a difference in what the 2 work out programs are suppose to do?  . or are they just 2 different ways to get to the same place? anyways I really appericate the advice! I will make sure to keep in touch.
