I've screwed up a lot of times, I ate some shit many times, but I kept consistency and went to the gym pretty much the whole time (Except on holidays, but now I have a gold's gym subscription I can use wherever I go)

Start: 140 lbs - Bench: 65 lbs...

Now: 152 lbs - Bench: 145 lbs...

I'm currently following Scott's Push Pul Legs, but I'm wondering if the Bodybuilding splits would be better to build muscle in my bulk period. Any advice?

Thanks!

You are looking awesome @KagedTom!! Proud of you bro!

I think the bodybuilding split would be a great change of pace during your bulk! The PPL split will too (as we can see by your photos :-D) but the extra volume there will definitely help you build some more size, so give it a shot if you're up for it!

@kagedtom I believe its all about balance and what your overall goal is, for the majority of us looking to get fit or in shape the odd lapse in diet is not going to set us back to the beginning but like you said you have been consistent and consistency is key.

I personally love a PPL spilt as my body reacts well to the high frequency style workouts where I can hit the muscle 2-3 times a week. I've tried a more bodybuilding spilt which was good and I loved it but I just didn't see the same results.

You don't know unless you try it man but it is good to switch up the workouts so if you are thinking about a change of routine then I would say go for it.

let us know how it goes!
