2) Do you drink your bcaa before sleep?

Soon probably, I will ask for you opinion about my workout plan. I hope that is fine innocent

Hi Malina! First off thank you for the support and the likes and everything, means a lot :-) And I have heard of Bosnia & Herzegovina! Very cool to hear that's where you're from! For your questions...

1) I already have a few warm up videos which I will post down below that you can check out!

2) I do like to sip on my BCAAs throughout the day and at night before bed when I am craving something sweet! It's great!

Would be happy to help with your program! I actually have a few 12 week programs on the site if you haven't already seen them - something ready to go if you wanted something well structured! http://muscularstrength.com/Full-Workout-Programs

Hi Scott,

This might be a little dumb to ask, but would you say the shoulder mobility warm-up is sufficient for the Push/Pull/Legs upper body days, and the squat flexibility warm-up is sufficient for the lower body days? Or would you suggest thes only for shoulder and squat days specifically, and therefore find additional warm-up's to use for other days?

Thanks!

@JeremyTBradshaw those two warm-up videos are fine to use for each workout of the PPL program. I suggest you do the shoulder mobility warm-ups before ANY workout (including legs), and some of the lower body stretches might be good before deadlifts on your pull day.

After doing those mobility exercises, I'd also suggest you do a few warm-up sets of your first exercise too. What you can do is even do the mobility work in-between your warm-up sets too.

Perfect! Thanks very much for all the intel. Having as much detail as possible straightened out in advance is a big huge helper for me to stay focused. I'm starting with Pull-A today and I will be finding the right place in the forums to put one last question about that program a little later.

Hey Scott. Couple quick questions.

First being, Is there any cool down suggestions you have for after a workout? I started the 12 week at home program this week. I missed yesterday, But I've completed upper body and Abs so far. Just wondering what you recommend for cooling off after working out. My timing is poor, because of the weird hours I work. I'm forced to workout right before I go to bed. So I have limited time to cool off and settle down before just laying still to sleep. I've just been "walking it off" around my apartment for now.

Other question is about this protein powder I have. I can already hear some of the things people will say about it. But I'm mostly just curious what everyone's opinion is of it. I will post a picture of the bag in a minute hopefully. If I can figure it out lol. Only reason I'm asking about it is because I've noticed after tracking my calorie intake for about a week, I'm finding that I'm on the lower end of my goal for intake. Around the 1700-1900 mark. When I want to be around 2000 ish. Maybe a little more. I just either don't have the time during my work day to eat more, or I eat too much at dinner that I don't feel like eating anything else to bump me up to ideal intake. Anyway, this post is kind of a mess. I'll just leave it at this for now haha.

Thanks in advance. Appreciate the help.

Walking it off is fine. Typically I would say a walk or slow jog for cool-down cardio, and aside from that just make sure you stretch out the muscles you were working, maybe stretch the lower back to keep that mobile too.

So.. do you have a picture of the protein? And we will take a look! 😁 If you are having trouble hitting your calorie target, just have an extra snack during the day, or just make your breakfast or lunch meal slightly bigger. Sounds like you only need 100-200 calories, so even a big handful of nuts would get you there.
