About Me   

I started my fitness journey around a two years ago, with the goal of loosing body fat as I had become overweight and lazy. For the first 6 months I didn't really have a clue what I was doing in the gym, I was scared of the free weights and therefore just stuck to the resistance machines. I would also do some cardio every workout which at first I believed was the only way to burn body fat, how wrong was I! With my gym knowledge limited I started looking through Youtube to see if there were any workout routines that might help me, I then came across Scott Herman! His videos were exactly what I needed! Shortly after I changed my gym and started putting in a lot more effort, I also found myself a training partner as I was nervous about failing mid lift. This worked great! While speaking with one of the trainers at my new gym he mentioned that he did body fat tests so decided to get one done. As of the first of February this year I came in at 208lb and 17.9% body fat, I then had a second test a month later which came in at 198lb and 15.7% body fat. I am now trying to burn more fat but struggling to keep the muscle mass any ideas?
