The other day I came across this random teen online who decided to get on gear, probably without the permission or knowledge of his parents and keeps posting pictures of him posing with captions such as "getting too big" and "so much power" despite not actually being anything remotely special considering the circumstances, which seem to either indicate a rather low IQ or an ever urging lust for attention, possibly both. He even talked about how more and more zits were appearing on his skin as if it was something meant to be laughed at and spew up asinine remarks like 1 fav = 1 shot of whatever crap he was on as if drug usage is a measly child's play...I very much doubt people like that kid have any clue of the risks involved in regards to taking these substances because all they apparently care about is receiving likes on the internet and getting praise for how great they look to feed their egotistical cravings.

There's probably a whole lot of people, especially highly gullible teens and young adults, in the exact same wavelength as this guy and I have to wonder if social media culture isn't one of the main culprits behind people's willingness to undertake incautious actions just to become more interesting and appealing within a virtual realm of fabricated appearances where everyone wants protagonism.

It's a shame there aren't more people like Scott in the fitness industry, people who actually provide unbiased and truthful information backed up by a legitimate desire to help others learn the right things and not get themselves into something which they might deeply regret later out of not knowing any better. Doing gear without adequate guidance and understanding is such a massive gamble that it truly pains me to see individuals following this route completely oblivious to the inherited dangers involved simply because they want to get jacked as quickly as possible in order to become attention harvesters, likely unaware that those "unnatural" gains won't be sustainable naturally once the enhancing effects expire although it should be pretty obvious nonetheless.

Perhaps the most annoying aspect of this whole endeavour is when these folks act like what they've achieved was none other than a huge feat of preserverance and effort singularly attributed to their amazing work ethic and supposed expertise instead of the anabolic drugs being used, which can give any dilettante dummy who has no idea of how to train and eat properly a decent physique, for as long as they're able to provide the muscles with a good pump every now and then.

And if we're called jealous haters for trying to be reasonable and promote sensible thinking then let's put it this way...what is there to be jealous of someone who's actively toying with their own health and risking a premature death for the sake of non profitable and profusely vain physical displays?

@CEVRAM96 Well said man. It's crazy how many young people just jump on something to enhance their gains without knowing anything about it. But with all of these influencers in their faces daily, it can lead them down the wrong path, especially when they realize they'll never look like their idols naturally.

Even when I started getting into the gym I wondered why so many other dudes were blowing up, not knowing they were on something. It's a pretty big thing

For sure! It baffles me to see how today's youth has such a major predisposition to pick and choose their role models solely based on outside looks, especially in the fitness industry, instead of actual wisdom, experience and overall character. Apparently, the main denominator for one's credibility and validation in regards to what they try to preach is how big and/or shredded they look whilst everything else becomes secondary, not to say irrelevant.

Somehow, those who attempt to sell illusions are able to gain more notoriety than the ones looking to give away truths. Isn't always the case to be fair but it seems to be happening increasingly often as society becomes more and more egocentric and obsessed with immediate gratification, an aspect which companies have grown to be prolific at exploiting through flashy marketing strategies.

Impressionable young people who eagerly wish to boost their self esteem and feel more empowered within a social environment are easily persuaded into doing enhancing drugs by all these social media fitness models who either purposefully or by association make it seem like if you have a physique as great as theirs, life will suddently become perfect for you.

Not only that, as they also put excessive emphasis and pride in reaching the end goals instead of the entire process and journey to get there, so no wonder kids resort to whatever can give them the body they want as quickly as possible, because they're made to believe that nothing else besides the final "product" holds legitimate congratulatory meaning. All without putting a single consideration towards the existing drawbacks of attempting to unnaturally speed up your body's ability to build muscle and burn fat since their so called sources of inspiration aren't really addressing such details.

@CEVRAM96 Yeah man it's sad but true. Another example of people looking for shortcuts! But it doesn't help when fake nattys claim natty, then their fans and followers eventually realize they'll never look like them naturally and end up jumping on something. Not good!

Fake nattys are some of the worst specimens within the fitness world! They are a major source of misinformation and flat out lies who can't seem to fathom, or simply don't care about just how much of a negative impact they might inflict onto others in the long run, all because of appealing towards unrealistic goals and expectations just to amass a greater following and collect the benefits that come with it.

It's pretty much like Greg says, there are those who tell you what you want to hear and the ones who tell you what you need to and should be hearing but in the end, it's not difficult to guess which side is more likely to hook up people since a lot of us curse at the idea of getting our beliefs challenged or mistakes/flaws exposed.

@CEVRAM96 Agreed. No problem with anyone who uses something. But the people who lie about it are just cowards. Doing a disservice to everyone!

After watching your most recent video, a newfound annoyance for these sorts of people has been brought up from deep within me. It's so flipping sad that fitness and PED usage are going this much hand in hand nowadays to the point of practically becoming literary synonyms.

If you stick to staying natural throughout your whole fitness journey, there's a good likelihood that you'll always remain well under the shadow of non nattys regardless of how hard and passionately you work for it because those on PED's will consistently be making the far more impressive gains in the shorter length of time. Apparently, visible gains are the only thing that many young impressionable people who don't understand any of the primary intricacies surrounding muscle building and fat loss seem to care about and look to celebrate.

Things are starting to look rather grim and hopeless amongst the fitness community, even when we have people like you Scott doing their best to spread the truth and educate people on this subject. It just seems like the bs is getting leaked at a greater rate and reaching a broader audience than what is humanely possible for any of you to effectively pick up upon and deconstruct over time.

@CEVRAM96 I wouldn't let it get to you that much man. Staying natural might mean you'll never be as big as dudes who jump on something, but that doesn't mean you can't build an amazing physique. And at the end of the day, it's much more rewarding to have a natural physique that you know you had no outside help for!

This is most certainly true and I suppose that attempting to raise awareness towards the unhealthy, misleading and disingenuous reality of what numerous influential people within the fitness world have been either implicitly or explicitly promoting over recent times is inevitably going to bring you quite a bit of backlash from those who've gotten brainwashed into believing it.

I watched How to Beast's response video and admittedly, he did make some fair points and I'm unable to dislike the guy from the collected yet assertive manner in which he behaves at the face of harsh criticism. Nonetheless, even though he did bring up a good honest disclaimer about trt and didn't seemed like he was willingly encouraging it's use, I can't help but think that some of the people who watched his videos on the topic are still going to become enticed to do trt regardless because well, quick and easy gains are too delightful of a prospect to pass on for many young people out there eager to make a name for themselves in fitness under the nonsensical guise that the quality of one's physique is largely correlated to how credible they should come across as being.

Passion is bound to supplant reason for some of the more desirous individuals who can't gather the necessary levels of commitment and self discipline to put on consistent hard work towards the accomplishment of long term goals as it's the case with achieving an impressive physique naturally.

@CEVRAM96 That's the point, it's showcasing a luxurious lifestyle while trying "not" to promote the use of it. People only see the good aspects from it, none of the side effects

I suppose that's what sells in today's world and get's your social media accounts booming with followers. Making your life look like this perpetual cycle of positive experiences based around an abundance of wealth and vanity whilst promoting that as a standard thing which everyone should strive for in order to be happy even though it's completely fabricated.

And jeez, I can't believe there are still people going at you out of spite, saying that your physique is nothing special and you're just jealous of those who're able to improve their own physiques by jumping on potentially harmful drugs...I bet none of these dimwits could outperform you in any workout, wether on PED'S or not but hey, they gotta be edgy and vent their own frustrations somehow.
