Anyone who is seriously into tough training likes to have a pre-workout supplement to back them up during intense training. Pre-workouts are not necessary at all, but for the serious althlete they definitely help to boost performance. There are lots of pre-workouts on the market and I know it can be difficult to choose the right one for yourself. Most people use trial and error until they find the perfect pre-workout to give them mind blowing energy, insane pumps and vascularity, and so should you. I will say that I'm a big fan of BSN products so my primary pre-workout choice is N.0 Xplode 2.0. It really gets you amped up for a great workout without the crash or jitters that a lot of pre-workouts give. Which ever pre-workout you decide to use, just be sure to use them responsibly by using the recommended dose. For those who have a very high tolerance to caffeine like myself, then using 1.5 servings is fine, but no more than that. I will say that even though pre-workouts amp you up, your meal plan and amount of quality rest you get is where true energy comes from. So be sure you're getting a good 8 hours of sleep each night and that you're feeding your body the proper fuel it needs to get the job done.
