Im currently taking bullnox before i workout and then true mass after workout. ive noticed recently that the bullnox isnt doing much for me like it was when i first started taking. should i double the serving or switch to something new? im trying to majorly bulk. should i take a preworkout and during workout? i know preworkouts have creatine but should i take a creatine supplement as well? i get really lazy in the gym which is why i use preworkouts. i need the pump and motivation to be there.

I don't know if I would double up on the Bullnox @qbulthuis.

Maybe try something new - you don't want to totally load up on caffeine and all the energy kickers included in pre-workouts, because it could potentially make your workout worse.

Maybe try taking a pre-workout then have some Amino Acids during your workout?

Pre-workouts don't normally have much creatine. If you want the full benefits of creatine, try a pure creatine supplement.

Remember, supplements can only SUPPLEMENT your diet. Have you got you @mealplan sorted??

Also, check out both of these videos :)

Hey my friend, supplements are great, but they are not the answer. I also get worried when I see the word "bulking" because that 99% of the time turns into just getting super fat unless you are on drugs.

Can you please give me a breakdown of your daily calories and macros as well as your bodyfat% and bodyweight?

Also, please take a moment to watch this video.

I am only taking one serving now, and it says intermediate bodybuilders take two servings. so maybe i just aint getting enough. im considering taking a preworkout then taking a creatine post along with my true mass. or should i do something different? i just dont think that i can survive in the gym without pre workout, i am almost addicted to the pump that comes with pre! haha.

getting about 367 g of carbs 99 grams of fat and 138 grams of protein daily which differs each day. like i said my diet hasnt always been on check but its getting better each day. by bulking i mean i dont want to be this scroony little kid any more! (: im trying to gain alot more muscle. im less worried about a 12 pack i just would like to get wider and bigger with alot more muscle.

seeing the video id just like to point out i dont just rely on pre workout for motivation. i may have worded my question wrong. i dont go to the gym just becacuse i have to i go because i want to. but i also get tired and love the pump at the gym that comes from pre workout just to clear the air!

Quinnton,

The simple answer is the placebo effect has worn off and it is time to throw the stuff in the trash where it belongs. It never worked at all you just wanted to believe it worked. The placebo effect is very powerful and is the reason many people think lots of useless supplements are working when in fact they do nothing :-)

"it says intermediate bodybuilders take two servings" - this here, is a marketing ploy. You start using two servings a day, and you will run out of your product quicker. Therefore you'll buy more pre-workout more frequently. Annnd that all = more money for your supplier :)

If you like the pump, and you feel like you are working out harder with a pre-workout, then try another brand, IMO. But ONLY after you have sorted out that meal plan!! Crappy meal plan = crappy results, no matter what supplements you take.

And about your motivation, I didn't really think that was the only thing that got you motivated - just a video I thought could be useful though :)

I think your carbs are WAY too high in comparison to your protein.

Your protein should be at least 200 - 220 grams a day in my opinion bro

You have two options

1) Take a stronger Pre Workout

2) Take some time off from stimulants (2-4weeks)

For option one, I highly recommend GAT nitraflex. Option 2 would be better overall because you will eventually develop a tolerance to even the stronger pwo.

hey scott

what is your opinion on intro workout carbs?

do you recormmend them, and why/why not.

Does the type of carbs matter

by myprotein i have seen 2 called "100% glucose carbs"(the cheapest), and 100% maledoxtrin carbs

What is the difference and is it significant?

also do you know how pure carbs taste?

also does it work like a energy drink where you get a lot of energy and then suddenly after som time you burn out of energy?

When taking creatine does it matter if i mix it with hot or cold water in terms of the powders ability to mix with the water

also how does creatine without an added taste, taste like. Do you reccormend with or without a added taste?

keep in mind i am bulking...
