I've read the benefits of both ... and I know that I want to take a Pre-Workout combine with some Creatine and a BCAA. Read several studies, articles from Bodybuilding.com, other nutrition forums, and several journals and understand the benefits of them stack. Due to my limited intake I need the extra burst of energy provided by a pre-workout. I also understand how creatine helps stock the muslce with water and increase peak performance.

My question regarding AminoX... I am not finding much on Ratios ... for BCAA the common consensus is a 2:1:1 ratio ... many are 12:1:1 so there is some waste. What is everyone's take on AminoX vs a solid BCAA?!

Thanks,
Gerry

Gerry, I use just Optimum Nutrition BCAA capsules. They are pharmaceutical grade and at the right ratio. I use these, some ON Whey protein in full fat milk, and hot Vietnamese green tea with virgin coconut oil as my pre-workout. I don't use Creatine and I don't believe in nor use any pre-workout concoctions. John

Dont get too caught up in the ratios, a 2.1.1 ratio is fine. Thats a good stack. I would take the bcaas and creatine after my workout tho

I mix the stack with approximately 24oz of fluid and start drinking it about 20 minutes before workout. Takes me most of the workout to finish it as I can only drink about 5 or 6oz of fluid at a time. Thanks all for the feed back so far.
