So I've been taking the same protein and glutamine suppliment for about 2 years now and I love it! After I get a serious pump at the gym all I crave is a delicious protein shake afterwards. This combination mixes very well and the recovery time is impressive and it helps me keep my protein intake up.

I'm curious to see what you guys take for your recovery shake, let us know!

Well, I take 30 grams of Impact Whey protein concentrate ( pure protein, unflavoured) and 5-7 grams of creatine monohydrate. Also 5 grams of beta-alanine and some fruit for carbs. My DOMS has definitely decreased in comparison to before, but of course its still there because I love to train hard-core! #HTH!

I've been taking Musclepharm Combat powder for a few months now and I'm loving the results! It tastes awesome (especially chocolate!) and works like it should. While using this I've been able to consistently do 2 workouts every day (one for strength training, one for boxing) without major DOMS.

I swear by the Herbaalife 24 Rebuild strength ! Few of us at work use it and I went a few weeks without using it to see the diffrence but I could tell big time when I don't use this. Recovers you really fast and you don't really get sore with this. http://performancenutrition.herbalife.com/en/products/rebuild-strength

Never heard this one before but I love the nutrition facts :

  • 24 g whey and casein proteins create a rapid and sustained protein-building state
  • Tri-core protein-amino blend of free amino acids, whey and casein proteins help rebuild muscle and speed recovery
  • Iron essential for red blood cell protection
  • Branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) support muscle growth
  • L-Glutamine supports immune function and promotes muscle repair

Awesome Alecia!

Yeah, it's pretty great quailty as well. B vitiamins give you your energy back as well after a long work out. I pay $60.00 for it and it makes 20 servings I think. The best part is it's taste ! It taste like a chocolate teddy ghram. You can mix peanut butter with it in a blender to get it to taste like a Chocolate Peanut Butetter Cup. Really the 24 hour line is a good line for the athleets.
