I have a question for anyone that's willing to answer! I started going to the gym 2 months ago! I'm currently 6ft 2 and 190lbs.

I have a tad too much belly fat. I want to know the best program for me, I'm looking to build muscle and just lose that bit of stubborn fat, Not looking to get shredded I just wanna add some muscle. I go gym about 6 times a week at the moment with out fail, what routine would be best for me? I am currently doing push, pull but I want to make sure that's best for me. Any advice wohld be amazing

PPL is a great start for muscle gain and fat loss. If you want to, you could even try the Cheat & Recover program (as a beginner to start with), and just run some of the circuits from the PPL program in there on your off days to help with fat loss. That will still give you the PPL split, and it will get you ready to start overloading with the cheat reps soon so you can take those gains to the next level!

Just make sure you have the @mealplan on point and stay in a slight surplus so you can make the most of your newbie gains to keep the fat coming off while you're adding mass.

Thank you for the reply. So I should start the cheat and recovery instead of the standard ppl?

On the rest days of the cheat and recovery as well as going the circuit in ppl there any weight exercises you would recommend so I'm maximising the muscle build

Well Cheat & Recover is next level gains bro. The PPL is good too, but C&R is unlike anything you've ever tried so if you're up for it, definitely give it a shot. Like I say, start by running through as a beginner for MONTH 1 and then get into the routine as it's laid out.

Honestly on your rest days, you don't need to worry about extra training too much. Maybe a little bit of weak point training, maybe some abs, but apart from that, keep it pretty steady. Rest days are your days to grow, and as a beginner you want to make sure you're making the most of those off days to recover. So if you do a circuit and abs, that would be enough for one day of 'active' off day training, then you could do cardio and weak point training on another day, something like that.

See how your body feels with the C&R workouts and what you feel up to doing on your off days. They are pretty taxing routines epecially when you first start!
