I was a total wreck today. Had a very long and tiring day yesterday and didn't have any energy what so ever. Due to this I skipped my chest and triceps day (following the 5 day bodybuilding split program). I'll probably go to the gym again tomorrow, but I'm not sure what to do. Should I start my week routine tomorrow (so do chest and triceps tomorrow, back and biceps wednesday etc.)? Or should I just skip chest and triceps this week and follow my routine like how it's planned (back and biceps tomorrow...)?

Hey Ruben,

I wouldn't worry about it too much, one skipped workout isn't going to negatively impact you. My advice is to do high volume pushups early in the morning and resume your regular training schedule from there. Everything is going to be fine, life happens brother.

Wouldn't that decrease his power?

Alex is right, missing one workout isn't terrible. It sucks haha, but it's not going to be a huge deal. You could just do a slightly different routine the following day, where you superset chest and back and maybe don't do as many drop sets, and then go back into the normal routine after that.

What did you end up doing?

Thanks for the help guys.

I ended up taking some rest and skip the workout. I'm still not feeling 100%, but a lot better already.

@RubenKuilder Happy to help man! If you're still feeling a bit off, then rest and recovery is probably what you need. You might even be due for a deload if it's been going on all week.
