Will 2 dynamic method days (60% RPM) and 1 Max Effort day (80-100%) be enough to maintain all my muscle gains for an intermediate lifter? I am an aspiring athlete and wish to do this way of training for sport specificity. Can I get away with this forever? Or Do I need to go back to my regular routine (undulating periodization). If I need to go back to my regular routine can you give me a rough estimate of how many weeks/months i can get away with lifting 2 dynamic days and 1 max effort day?

Dynamic Tension is a self-resistance exercise method which pits muscle againstmuscle. The practitioner tenses the muscles of a given body part and then moves the body part against the tension as if a heavy weight were being lifted. maximize muscle retention, allow 2-3 exercises per body part, 3 sets per exercise. Do 10-12 repetitions and give yourself 30-90 seconds rest between sets. If you won't be near a gym and you want to maintain muscle mass and strength, do core bodyweight exercises.(Indianworkouts)

@faijaii So that would still be 3 full body days per week, right? I think you would be able to maintain on this for sure, so long as your eating is still on point. I'm assuming this would be in conjunction with sport specific training which is part of the reason you want to have a couple of dynamic lighter days and only one max effort day, because you will be neededing time to recover from sport specific training and don't want to do anything in the gym that will inhibit your sports performance?
