Hi everyone

I am going to do a 'mini-cut' for about 1.5-2 months in order to lose som bodyfat. However, I am not sure if I should keep doing my PPL twice a week (with a bit lower volume and more heavy weights) or another program to maintain as much size and muscle as possible.

What should I do?

Thank you in advance.

@TheBigGuy1337 You can stick with the PPL program while cutting, and you don't really need to alter it to maintain size. Just make sure you get your protein intake high (1.2g - 1.5g per pound of lean body weight). That, along with a smaller surplus (around 200-300 calories for slower fat loss) and the strength training in particular, will all help you maintain a good amount of muscle mass!

To maximize muscle retention, allow 2-3 exercises per body part, 3 sets per exercise. Do 10-12 repetitions and give yourself 30-90 seconds rest between sets. If you won't be near a gym and you want to maintain muscle mass and strength, do core bodyweight exercises(indianworkouts)
