I cant help but feel sorry for myself. ive been training and sticking to my nutrition plan for the past 3 weeks with great results. ive lost about 10 pounds and 2 inches off my waist. however, this weekend i got drunk and ate about 1000 calories of junk food and i felt so disgusted! but im going to take it for what it is and remind myself how gross i felt for future reference.

You may be eating to healthy, and yes there is such a thing. The reason cheat meals excist is as a safety vent to prevent binging like that. Thats why its good to have a cheat meal or two a week and eat healthy the remaining time. The fact that you did what you did is comepletely normal - recharge, regroup and get back on the horse.

@Boozy_Poo It was only one day man, it's all good! Tomorrow is the start of a new week so you can get back on track. And whenever you feel like binging so badly again, just remember how it made you feel afterwards.. that should give you an incentive to avoid it haha.

Trim Inches from Your Waist. One pound of fat has 3,500 calories, so creating a 500- to 1,000-calorie-a-day negative balance, through diet, exercise or both, can help you lose 1 to 2 pounds a week.

@luckyvenkat Well, I wouldn't agree about a 1000 calorie deficit per day. Being in a 250 - 500 calorie deficit every day for a week (which means a 1750 - 3500 calorie deficit per week) is more than enough to lose weight steadly. The bigger the deficit, the more likely you are to start burning through muscle. Going for a quick fix by making the deficit too big isn't the best option, in my opinion.

Hi everyone! So.. this is MY BIGGEST problem.. nutrition. I am really good for a month.. and then when the chance comes (like when I take my trips to visit my sisters out of town) I sincerely say "eff this" and GO TO TOWN. And when I say GO TO TOWN.. I don't mean hava A burger and fries... I mean.. no lie a full tub of ice cream... chocolate.. sweets, sweets, sweets until I am literallly looking 6 months pregnant. Gluttony to the max! I used to never have cheat meals.. cause I know my self control is non existent when I have the chance to eat what I like the most... should I just go back to no cheat meals all together? and how to deal when going out of town???? so hard!!!

On thing I recommend is living your life with balance by the 80/20 rule. 80% of the time your eating clean but you allow some sweets and things you like here and there( make it fit your macros) so when you get the chance to go on vacation you don’t just go crazy! If you’re getting the foods you love here and there and make it fit your macros you won’t go off the deep in the first chance you allow yourself to eat something unhealthy. Too much restriction Can be a bad thing
