Squat day, i left pride at the door. I lowered the weight concentrated on form and squatted ATG . 135 is all i went up to, but i feel it in variuos smaller support muscles. Now i will continue and build from here. It was a good day at the gym. 😀
Im just trying to make coach Scott proud.

Hours later I feel it in my Achilles so that tells us ankles will need to adapt. I got this though.
Thanks for the encouragement, I realized 135 ATG is way more beneficial than 225 to parallel or slightly past.
I will get momma to record a set sometime soon. So I can share

My deal is, imdont lie squatting ass to grass , but if we do not make ourselves do things we dont like we will never improve. Soon enough i will love squatting low. Im looking to do exercises that are not my favorite and even add new ones i have never done before.
That is how we become beasts , doing things other people are scared to do.
Here we go. ðŸŽ

Right on @Herculesinwyo!! Obviously you want to enjoy your time in the gym.. but sometimes you have to do things that suck haha.. at leasst until you get used to them and they become your favorites!
The fact your achillies was sore might be to do with ankle mobility, yeah. So make sure you are working on getting them more flexible when you can!

Felt it in the ankles and then 24 hours later glutes and hams . I am doing your stretches and then some. It will get better.

Todays squats were amazing! I have been doing your stretches all week and the difference has been huge. Todays squats were Ass-Hot-spankable! ATG even lower than bfeore, weight was perfectly distributed over my center foot and heels, no forward lean at all, lower back felt nothing bad at all. It was So good ! I am doing things i thought i may never do again! Years back i stopped lifing when i had a tiba plateau fracture knee dislocation combo ( work related). My flexability is back, my knees are nice and strong and i am squatting deeper than i have ever in my life!
You helped fix my bench ( bum shoulder)
you helpped fix my squats ( bum knee and bad form)
you helpped fix my deadlifts, see above LOL
thank you sir you are a God Send just when i needed your coaching most.
I will be a customer for the long haul ( as budget allows) but i will do my best to pay you back and make you proud!
Thanks man really i cant say it enough you made my gym time so much better and productive.
People stopped to watch when i squatted today and it wasnt because i was doing it wrong! I have my confidence back, my sense of well being back and im getting one heck of a body too.
I just want you to know how much you are appreciated i am sure you help hundereds that you never hear from so i am here to say it for them.

Going in for week four of Ass to the freaking grass after work tomorrow.
Bed time now better be well rested for the fun!

I was mistaken , today was chest and shoulder day, i will get legs done in the morning before work. I did the stretches today though and i am at full range of motion now for sure.

My squat depth has gone from bar even with the red arrow to the blue arrow bar was barely touching g the guard,and tomorrow I'm gonna put the guard lower than I can possibly squat
