Sunday night was leg day, I was feeling real good and figured I would make a 30 pound increase on my working sets. It went ok and i was thinking this seemed heavier than expected. I stepped up and pushed on through my sets. At the end I was just destroyed even 2 days later I'm still just feeling beat and way more sore than I should have.
Well when unloaded the bar I should have added 25 pound plates and I actually added 35 pound plates so it was a 50 pound increase whoops!
This goes to show many of us could be putting out more effort than we realize. See now I'm gonna be at a way higher working weight just because I was mentally holding myself back.
My poor glutes still get angry when I sit on the toilet hahaha.
