Sumana,
I live in Asia too and eat brown rice. You can measure it one of two ways - a cup of uncooked rice or a cup of cooked rice. I use a cup of cooked rice because a cup of uncooked rice yields several cups of cooked rice. A cup of cooked rice would be like a small black bowl they use to serve Miso soup or rice at a restaurant. You can buy them at any store or you could buy an actual measuring cup to help measure your food.

Hey Sumana,
John is right. You classify it as COOKED or UNCOOKED.
You are a pltinum member so when you look up foods in the meal planner just search for your rice, brown or white, and pick COOKED rice and then how much you had. Like 1 cup or 2 cups.
Hope this helps! :)
What about slices of home cooked pork lean meat cooked in a plate?I take about half of the plate,so it should be about 3 typical servings?
You need to enter it as OUNCES.
A decj of playing cards is about 4 OUNCES. I use that to help me log my meat :)
