Hey @Scott_Herman

I am wondering how I could combine the sport-minded teampractices  with individual strength/muscle-improving workouts and with a good nutrition plan. I hope you can help me with this, because I don't know where to start and put this all together. So all tips are welcome :D

I'm playing the sport handball for 8 years now (I'm 18yo).  I do 4 practices (technical and tactical) and a game in the weekends. I'm studying Physics, which also takes around 25-30 hours of lessons in a week. As a student I have to be cautious with what I spend. The costs of gym membership, nutrition and other miscellanious things can be too much for me. The season has now ended. We are free to do whatever we want and I want to keep progressing. At the 24th of July, we start the preparation for next season. That includes 6-7 practices every week, fitness, cardio and handball practices mixed. Since september, the season starts and we will have 4 handball practices + match again. So I have 2 weeks to practice in the gym and one week with body workout when I'm on holiday. Those periods are a bit too short to follow a specific program, isn't it? But for when the season starts, I want some plan to build muscle between the practices with my team.

I'm getting interested in calisthenics. I like the functionality and the fewer needs of equipments. Working with weights trigger my fear for injuries a bit due to the lack of control. Injuries are definitely an issue. I have broken a few fingers and a wrist along with other injuries. Since I began playing handball, my wrists, my back and my ankles have always been weak (which is one of my biggest frustrations). And I feel abnormal pain in those areas regularly, hoping it isn't another injury (which are really terrifying thoughts/feelings). It also affects my fitness, because I couldn't excercise at least one month in a year. Denying me to build up a decent fitness level. This season is my first season without injuries :) If you have any good exercise for strengthening ankle, wrist and back, please tell me.

Also, I  posted a thread about my mealplan some time ago, I would appreciate if you could check that as well. Thanks!
