Hello everyone. My name is Sumit, 23yrs old and I work overnight shifts as a back office executive. I just joined recently and Im looking forward to it.

I am going to start my workout soon but cant as I have a viral fever w/ cold, so once I am healed I will start working out.

Before I do start working out, I would need some guidance. I am able to sleep 6 to 7 hrs daily, and I will be able to spare 30mins to 40mins daily for excercising at home. The nearest gym is around 1hr away so I cant go there as of now.

My height is 5ft 11in, weigh around 83kg(183lbs), have a round belly, so i you can fat percent is around 30 to 35%. I am a beginner at workouts, only lasted 1 month of training about 2 yrs ago, but now I am determined to start over again.

There are 2 goals, losing that big belly, and gaining arm strength. I only have a pair of 10 lbs dumbells and space enough in my room to do push ups and nothing else, so I guess thats all I can say for now.

Thanks You

welcome to the site sumit and goodluck with your workout, you are gonna make it 1 day bro just control your eating habits (watch scott's video about meals and nutrition and also consider the meal plans on the site) and if you cant go to gym there are plenty of exercise you can do at home and you can go for a walk early in the morning thats great too, and i understand i also walk to the gym which is like 40 mins away so i understand the struggle :P but getting past all the problems will help you achieve your goals, goodluck with it bro :)

What's up Sumit?!

30-40 minutes will be HEAPS of time for you to perform an INTENSE fat burning workout.

The key to burning fat is to do short but really exhausting workouts, where you rest for small periods of time and do lots of work. This make your metabolism increase, and means you burn more calories even after you're finished working out.

Here are some of Scott's total body training routines which you can do at home to help you burn fat:

If you want to gain arm strength, things like the military press, chest press and dips are core exercises which will help you out. For strength, try and do low reps between 4-6 and high sets between 4-6 with about 2 minutes rest between sets.

Hi i needed help with starting a plan for working out, i see alot of people have like one day for chest and arms and one for back and another for legs, and of course some days to rest, and recently i pushed my self too hard and most likely i used the wrong form when working out that i injured my self,so when i have been resting i have been watching Scotts channel on youtube and i came across some of his beFit 30day workouts, i was wondering since i am out of shape, and since i dont have a workout plan figured out yet... would doing the 30day workouts be good for me since im just starting out and that way i can bring up my stamina and strength, and if so , which one would be the first one, he has one for shreding , one for toning, one for strength, do i do each video once a day , or stick to just one program for the 30day then switch to another after the month? also i saw hermanites abs do cuz i do have a belly from all the milk i drink lol ...any advice is always apprericated and welcomed.,

The BeFit workouts are probably a great place to start @Fox84, especially if you don't have access to a gym at the moment because you can do these at home.

They are numbered remember, so maybe just do them in order? Unless you have a specific goal or body area you want to work on...given you are just starting out though, it's probably a good idea to start from number 1 and do them in order.

Do one each day, and see how you feel - if you think you can push yourself and do two, then go for it. Also, you could perform one of the BeFit workouts, then do a separate ab workout each day.

Hope this helps.
