So I am loving the 12-week challenge home workout program so far. The only problem is that some of the exercises require jumping, such as the jumpsquats and burpies in Lower Body 2.

The problem with that is that I live on the second floor, and I don't want to disturb my downstairs neighbors. I have received complaints before for literally WALKING too loud, so I don't think jumping will be acceptable to anyone.

So what is the best way to find alternatives to these exercises?

Thanks!

I'm not sure since I don't do BW exercises, but I would try to do squats instead of jumpsquats (this will be a less aerobic exercise, but should work the same muscles), and as far as burpees, I might try keeping the pushup part of it, maybe even do the burpee without jumping so the core workout is still there too (literally just exclude the jump). If you feel like this is not enough, then maybe grab some weight (can literally be anything, a chair, your laptop, bag of rice), and squat that to get a better workout.

Best of luck!

Great suggestions from @jorgeegroj! Adding weight will definitely be a good way to increase the intensity of the exercises if you aren't jumping.

You don't have any outdoor area or anything that will allow you to workout without disturibing the people downstairs?

Thanks @Scott_Herman and @jorgeegroj . I've started just making those exercises as intense as possible. Sucks that the home workout isn't really suitable for my home, but where there's a will, there's a way!
