Hi Scott, i just got a rope to start doing some cardio to help with the fat loss, currently I'm doing 4 days of training with a combination of weights and bodyweight exercises.

So i wanna start doing cardio with rope jumping, but don't want to risk loosing muscle mass

My idea, is 4 days of weight training and the 3 days off, I'll do rope jumping for 20 to 30 mnts combined with some direct ab workout, so what do you think about that?

And should i have a different approach or stick with the one i have already?

@Jtv08 As long as you're eating enough protein and your not it a massive calories deficit (should only be 250 - 500 calories below maintenance daily) then doing cardio won't make you lose tons of muscle mass. You will always lose a little when cutting. But that will minimize it.

So you're on the right track!

I always find it tough to have the motivation to do cardio in a home workout setting. However, during these times we don't have much of a choice. Although i don't have a lot of money I was determined to make this work for as little as possible. For that reason I have invested in a second hand rowing machine and a really good cheap pre workout like the ones here. I think this will give me not only the equipment but also the motivation that is necessary to take my home workouts to the next level.

I would be curious to know how your at home cardio journey is going. Do you have any tips to help with motivation? Thanks!
