Hi guys,
I'm fairly new in going to the gym. Started couple of months ago.
That said, I'm in my 3rd week of the Summer Shred Challenge, and I get out of breath in between burn sets. How hard, depends on the exercise. It was especially noticeable today - did Workout 3. In between the burn sets of either front or normal squads I had to pause and take a breath. Also I have a high heart rate (no meter, sry) and I'm sweating heavily.
I'm 34 and I think it might be, that my body still isn't used to lifting weights and being challenged that much. I don't tend towards high blood preasure (read that in another thread).
Do you guys have any suggestions for me? Would endurance training help at all? I'm not sure, because the demand during short high intense reps is different.
