Hi. I have been lifting for a couple of years now and from the beginning, i have had this loose, soft skin. I tried going down to a single digit fat percentage, but the skin remained the same. I am a vegetarian, so I heavily rely on dairy. I was told by a friend that beans and dairy cause the skin to loosen, but I do not think so. Please guide me what to do and whether or not it is due to diary and beans. If not, then what could be the reason and possible measure to cure this problem and get tight and hard skin? Thank you.

@Kanwarsgill Well, as a natural athlete, you're not going to be rock hard 24/7. That's not how your body works. So if it's just soft skin in that sense.. I wouldn't be worried about it. If you were dry and hard 24/7.. you'd have a problem haha.

Where is this loose skin, and is it potentially from you being overweight at some point in your life and then losing weight?

No I understand that i cant look all tense and intimidating all the time and I get it. But thats not what my problem is. I have friends who are natty but have tigher skin, whereas I have loose and soft one. I have it all over my body, mainly my abdomin, sides and glutes. I have seen your videos and you have way way tighter gripped up skin than mine. I have been doing this for years, bulking, shredding and all. But this skin just does not change.

And yes i used to be a bit fat long time ago,- but not obese. Like around 25-28% bf. I shredded....bulked... shredded again... all this over several months but still squishy skin. Kinda frustrating.

@Kanwarsgill Everyone holds body fat in different places too, and that comes down to genetics. So those might just be places where your body tends to store fat, even when you start to get leaner, they might be the last places to really tighten up.

What body fat % are you at the moment?
