Hi Guys (and Gals),

I've ordered myself a fat burning supplement from Amazon. It is Universal Nutrition Fat Burner Pills (you can google it to see how it looks like).

This is the first time I'm trying these pills. For the most part, reviews about them have been good on the net. But has anyone here tried them before? If so, how was your experience?

Would appreciate it.

Thanks,

V

Venu,

I hate to break it to you but there are no such things as fat burner pills :-) These are just marketing gimmicks. There are no pills you can take to burn fat regardless of what the product may claim. Most of these "pills" are just best case overpriced caffeine pills and worse case filled with God knows what. In the U.S., supplement companies are not regulated by the FDA so they can put cat urine in their product and there is nobody to stop them. It is only when people get sick or die that the FDA jumps in and investigates. The only way to truly burn fat is to follow a very strict exercise program and eat a solid meal plan of only healthy and nutritious foods. It is easier said than done which is why so many people look to "quick fixes" like fat burners and diet pills. Unfortunately, there are plenty of companies out there willing to take your money and sell you useless products to meet these desires. Most of the "reviews" you saw are the product of the "placebo effect" - you want to believe so much that a product works you imagine the results.

Your best bet is use the vast amount of information available on this site to build yourself a healthy meal plan and an exercise routine you can stick with. This is the only true way to change your physique :-)
