currently taking pre workout, true mass, and i bought cheap creatine (body fortress) just the other day. ive always been told to take creatine after working out but the bottle says to take before working out. what is the best time to take it? also i usually take mass gainer right after working out so should i take the creatine with it or wait awhile to take the creatine after the mass gainer?

It is best to take creatine before workouts to pre-load the muscles. You can take it post-workout as well but in this timeframe your muscles are more interested in absorbing protein to start the repair process rather than a pre-cursor for internal energy use - Creatine is not a protein but a pre-cursor to ATP energy production in the muscle cell.

Hey @jmboiardi how long prior to lifting should this be done... ?? Ive alway loaded the night before appx: 10pm. allowing the entire day for absorbtion then workout around 6pm the next day.

Mike,

 

It is up to you. I used to take it in the morning with my first meal back when I used it. The bottom line is as long as you load prior to working out, you will be OK regardless of when you do the loading.
