Hey all!

It's been now more than 6 months that I have this protein powder "Musclepharm Combat Powder Cinammon Bun Flavour"
No BSN right where I live, i can only buy it online, anyway

At first, i could deal with the taste and drink it
But now, i developed some sort of gag reflex to it, that I can't even bear with the scent of the protein powder.

I can't let all that protein go to waste, but i need to find a way to consume it!
I tried mixing it with chocolate milk, bananas etc to change the flavour
Tried making crepes out of it, but the texture is just not good at all

What can I do to make this 'consumable' to me?

Anyone's help would be really useful

@scott_herman what do you recommend as well? would be helpful! Thanks!

Try making some protein pancakes with it @J1kler! Some cinammon bun flavored pancakes would be delicious I'm sure :-D

Hey guys...I recently lost 60 lbs but now I'm trying to put on some muscle but I don't have the appetite to eat 3400 calories a day as well as 250 grams of protein so I bought this protein powder from Optimum Nutrition. I'm 6'7 196 lbs. I'm doing well with my diet but I take this when I'm just having a hard time hitting my calorie and protein goals. Just wondering what you guys think of this. Thanks!!

Optimum Nutrition is a pretty well trusted brand, they actually are owned by the same company as BSN. Obviously you want to get as many calories and macros from real food as you can, but if you need to fill some holes then a mass gainer like this is OK. Just try not to rely on it too much.

If you need extra calories you can always double up on servings of meat, of Greek yoghurt or eggs for protein, have some more rice, oats, sweet potato, quinoa, fruit for carbs, and extra nuts, peanut butter or avocado for fats. Those are just some examples that could help you fill in more of your diet with real food instead of this mass gainer. You can always blend some foods up to make it easier to get the calories down.
