The first idea that i have isnt exactly a supplement but i was thinking of at breakfast time i usually add a protein mix in with my oats, and was considering adding Chia seeds as i noticed it has so many health benefits including magnesium and manganese levels, almost 30% of your Recomended daily is found in this super small ammount aswell as other things

I was considering getting barley grass tablets, as i heard that boosts many vitamins and minerals, aswell as 5x your iron levels then any other product

and finally i was looking at using creatine, from the reseach it looks like creatine.

The purpose behind my choices were, in my eyes, i dont eat enough green vegetables in my diet so i am losing alot of the right kind of vitamins, as for the Chia seeds they just seem too good to be true, and finally the creatine unless i eat alot more fish which my girlfriend would probably kill me for haha, then it sounds like a good bet that im missing a few important things.

may i get peoples thoughts? especially if anybody has ever tried these supplements and found them to be beneficial

@sillymunchie I don't eat Chia seeds much, but I have heard good things about them so I think they could be a great addition! They also have a lot of fiber so if you're lacking fiber, they'll help with that.

I tend to try and get plenty of fruits and vegetables in my diet rather than relying on a pill replacement. If you can, I'd suggest trying to add more vegetables in with your meals like broccoli, asparagus, carrots, bell peppers, cauliflower etc. Even if it's the frozen stuff.

And creatine is definitely good! One of the best supplements you can use. I typically take 5g per day, every day!

Well i do put bell peppers, mushrooms and onions in my chicken dinner preps, and ive dabbled with green beans, i just really dont like brocolli or cauliflour xD hate em with a passion

The veggies i am ok with is, sweetcorn i dont really like em but i can stand to eat them
green beans, prety much the same with sweetcorn, i dont really enjoy the taste but i can still eat them which i do
All varietys of bell peppers, even eat some in my fajita's
mushrooms, love me a good healthy variaition of stoganoff that i designed myself and the girlfriend loved it too which was a bonus
I tried petit pois, and even though i did eat them i dont think i finished them haha
and kale i put that in a few of my omelettes

but honestly never tried asaparagus, and carrots as a kid i only ate them raw, once they are cooked they go soft and i dont like the texture but i could just eat a carrot raw and i would of been fine

@sillymunchie Well if you REALLY need to take the pill to get those vitamins and minerals you're missing from real vegetables, then you have to do what you have to do. But one other option would be to make your own juice from those vegetables - maybe that will make them more enjoyable for you!

@sillymunchie Yeah I understand what you mean. There are a few methods you can try to make them a bit more enjoyable, like your soup option, the juice option, or even cooking them with various spices might make them nicer for you too!

hey scott

what is your opinion on intro workout carbs?

do you recormmend them, and why/why not.

Does the type of carbs matter

by myprotein i have seen 2 called "100% glucose carbs"(the cheapest), and 100% maledoxtrin carbs

What is the difference and is it significant?

also do you know how pure carbs taste?

also does it work like a energy drink where you get a lot of energy and then suddenly after som time you burn out of energy?

When taking creatine does it matter if i mix it with hot or cold water in terms of the powders ability to mix with the water

also how does creatine without an added taste, taste like. Do you reccormend with or without a added taste?

keep in mind i am bulking...

My favorite protein food is making kidney beans with chilli spices. When I started out I used to drink a lot of protein shakes (mostly non-flavored) cuz I cant stand the flavored ones. I'd make like a fruit smoothie thing in the morning and at night I would sometimes add it to my special tea. It worked fine I think in helping me gain muscle. I stumbled upon this muscle building supplement a while back. I got the amino acid supplement from vitaminexpress.org. Its helped me with muscle gains AND muscle soreness. I was pretty impressed with that aspect. I won't be substituting it for my protein shakes but I'll keep it in my regimen.
