I'm looking for a bike trainer so I can do cardio at home. I'm only 15 so I don't have a lot of money. What are some good ones for a good price? Also, does every bike fit on them? By the way I have a cheap mountain bike.  I don't know what kind it is, I just use it because my parents don't.

Robert,

Have you thought about just buying a regular bike and riding outside?  Living in San Francisco, you have Golden Gate park and other areas that are great for riding.  When I lived in Sunnyvale in the South Bay, there were lots of places to get a ride in if one wanted.

Yes I do bike around town with friends, but it takes up a lot more time than biking in one spot. Also winter time is coming and its always raining in San Francisco. Do you know any good trainers though?

I don't but you could try looking on E-bay or Craigslist if you are trying to save money.  You don't need to spend a lot (>$500) but also don't spend too little or it won't last very long.  You can get some decent bike trainer stands for your existing bike for anywhere from $70.00 to $200.00.   I would search on the Internet if you want new or E-bay and Craigslist if you want used.  This would be the cheapest option versus buying a full out stationary bike like they have at a gym.
