So my 4 weeks of training before a deload week finished last week so this week was suppose to be a deload week but only today to realised that. So Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I went heavy. Am I able to skip my second chest and back workouts to make up for it? Asking because I hate lifting light weights in the gym

You should only use deload days/weeks if/when you are feeling CNS fatigue or lack of recovery. You don't have to do them methodically every month or two. Your body will let you know it is time for a deload - you aren't as strong, you are physically and/or mentally tired, or you feel lethargic. These are signs the nervous system and muscular system need a break.

@Joel236 I swear I saw this somewhere else too, might have been on your profile page? So I responded there, but I agree with John, you only need to take a deload when your body feels it needs one. It's good to structure them in, but if you get to that week and don't FEEL like you need it, you don't HAVE to take it. Personally I like to just deload when I travel, so it's kind of strucutred but kind of not haha.

Like I said, if you're really worried about it, just carry on with this week and deload next week.
