Hey everybody,

How much whey protein a day would you consider to be too much?..75,100,150? I know that it's imortant to vary where you get your protein but I just have a difficult time some days trying to get 250 g protein.

I try to vary my protein sources but I just found out my protein bars are made of whey too so i don't want to go too crazy with the whey.

Thanks!

With those numbers, are they grams of protein you're getting? I would suggest, if you can, probably no more than around 50g-70g from supplements daily. If you have two servings of one supplement, that's probably about 50g. If you have a third serving, that would be about 70g-75g.

Would it be bad if you went more than that? No, probably not. But like you said yourself.. you want to get as much protein from your regular diet of wholesome foods as you can.

If you get a couple of servings of meat per day (maybe even 3 with a can of tuna or something), add some Greek yoghurt in, maybe some other dairy products like eggs, maybe something else like tofu, along with just the protein you get in association with some carb/fat sources like oats, quinoa, nuts or peanut butter, then you shouldn't need to much from supplements to fill the gaps ideally 😁

Yes, I meant grams. Oh okay that sounds good! I hadn't seen that list before, some good ones on there.

I thnk I'm going to try out lean ground turkey and see how it goes.

Thanks for the advice!
