Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) is found mostly in meat and dairy products, and has been proven effective with a dosing of 1.8 - 3.4g per day. It may also reduce hunger pangs and potentially less caloric intake; however, the positive benefits of CLA only last a matter of months. I cannot speculate without knowning the other ingredients in this Tonalin product.

Anyone take Tonalin CLA to help fat loss, metabolism speed? If so what results have been, was an improvement was noticed?

Amy,

The best way to facilitate fat loss is proper nutrition and intense exercise. There is no secret pill, magic formula, or short cuts. Spending money on fat burning supplements is like peeing in the ocean. The noticeable impact will be negligible and will be a waste of money. Supplement companies want you to believe their products, especially those derived from naturally occuring compounds or those already found in a proper diet, will give you that extra "boost". The reality is they don't and aren't worth the money spent.

The only supplements that provide proven and noticeable improvements are protein supplements and creatine. All the rest are marginal at best and totally useless at worst.

I agree John, the optimal way to lose weight is with an effective nutrition and exercise plan.

In my opinion, creatine and whey / casein trump all others and have been studied the most. Aside from this, the best supplements are various ingredients you can incorporate nutritionally, such as green tea, cayenne pepper, etc.

Thanks for the feedback. It's not something I've thought about much or would likely spend money on, but had seen a conversation about it on Facebook sparking curiousity.
