hey

I know I should take in a breath before each rep. Where can I reset the breath? Can I breath at the top position? or breathing is allow only between reps , like squat & t-bar row?

@alonadoni You can reset your breath at the bottom of the movement. Take in a breath at the bottom, then push through to the top of the movement. Breath out at the top, then bring the weight back down. Once you're back in the bottom position (with the bar across your shoulders) you can reset your breath by breathing in again and keeping everything tight.

That would be if you're doing paused reps. If you're doing continuous reps, then yes you can reset your breath at the top of the movement with the bar above your head.

hey @scott_herman, thanks!

why "Breath out at the top" if i'm not going to breath in..? and which reps do you recommend? (you mention continuous reps and paused reps)

@alonadoni Breath out at the top because you'll probably want to release the pressure you've built up in your core before you started to press the weight.

And which reps you'll do depends on your goal. If you're going for mostly strength gains, do paused reps. If you're going to more volume and higher reps, touch and go (continuous) reps are OK.

@alonadoni You can do that too! Just don't hold it so long that you pass out! Haha.
