Hi everybody

So i've been struggling with the deadlift... Pulled a muscle in my glúte a few weeks back because form was not optimal ( was basically doing a sldl, starting with the hips high, without noticing).

I'm making an effort to Change my form and it feels better now. However, im feeling something on my shoulder Blades, upper back área, some kind of tightness.

I've watched the videos a few Times, but can't see to find the problem. This tightness appears mainly on the initial pull of the ground.

Weight is really low (+_+) was trying to get the hang of the motion

Thanks for Your help

@rfc Well, your upper back should be tight when you're deadlifting. So it's normal for things to be tight around that whole area of your upper back / shoulder blades. It's hard to tell from the video, but the only thing I could think of that it might be (if it's a discomforting tightness) is that you're kind of tightening up just before you pull the weight. Therefore you might be shrugging the weight off the ground initially before you pull (pull actually meaning pushing the ground away with your legs).
