Hey @Johny_dragon!

If you are newbie, you can probably build muscle and lose fat at the same time! Pretty cool huh?! That also means you can probably stay in a surplus of calories to lose fat while building muscle for a certain period of time. However, keep it to a small surplus - about 250 calories ABOVE your maintenance number. Have you used the calculator on the @mealplan page yet?

And for a program that focuses specifically on fat loss, you should try my at home 12 week program! Another good option if you are a beginner!! http://muscularstrength.com/12-Week-Home-Program

Most of your fat cutting is going to be diet and nutrition based. The exercise will help in the sense that resistence training will build muscle (which burns calories by simply existing) and the cardio will help maintain/increase the caloric deficit and your overall health.

These are two different processes. You burn fat by simply eating less calories than you use in your day-to-day. However, you build muscle by 1. eating enough protein and 2. working out (muscle breakdown -> muscle repair -> muscle growth), sort of a 'stress, recovery, adaptation' cycle.

therefore, I would suggest you go into a caloric deficit (chech out the meal plan page and calculate the macros you should be eating) and do any of the workouts you suggested. The more you work out, the more energy you expend, the more calories you can eat while still losing weight

Well, getting lean is all about daily macros my bro.. why don't you upgrade to platinum so you can use my @mealplan custom app and do my PPL program?
