Hello. Im trying to shredd of some fat now and i workout in the mornings. I wanted to ask a couple of things.

First - should i take bcaas while cutting? And when?

Second - if i do fasting cardio, should i take bcaas before or after or none atall?

1. You can take BCAAs, sure. When you take them doesn't really matter, it can be any time of the day. I like to sip on mine while working out. If you're working out fasted then they will definitely be good to have while training!

 

2. Again, you can take them and the timing doesn't matter hugely. But if you're doing fasted cardio, is that AFTER your weight training? In which case you would have had the BCAAs while training, so before your cardio.

Thanks scott! Im actually following your PPL routine. As you have suggested, 3 days of weoght training and 2 days of HIIT between those days. So its just cardio day. Any suggestions?

@Kanwarsgill That sounds good man! But instead of that, you could now do Full Body Evolution instead so that you're training EVERYTHING 2 - 3 times per week, but you can still do cardio on the days in-between! https://muscularstrength.com/full-body-evolution
