Hey lady Hermanites! This is a great lower body workout that will burn everywhere! By the time you finish your quads, hamstrings, glutes, calves, adductors, abductors, and everything in between will be on fire! You will never get bored with the variety in this routine. I have been doing this the last few months and am seeing great results. Give this routine a shot and you will start to see the nice legs and butt you want!
Legit Legs
- Squat Jumps, 20 reps (get your butt low and squeeze at the top)
- Split Lunges, 20 reps p/s these are jumping lunges where you switch legs as you jump straight up )
- Calf Raise Drop Set, 20 reps (perform regular standing calf raises, start with your heaviest weight and drop the weight three times at 20 reps each)
- Walking Weighted Lunges, 20 reps p/s (these are continuous with no pause at the top)
- Single Leg Bridges, 20 reps p/s (make sure you squeeze your glutes at the top of the bridge)
- Deep Wall Squats, 1 minute (get as deep as you can and hold for 1 minute)
- Pistols, 20 p/s (Use a bench to perform a single leg squat. Keeping one leg parallel to the ground squat down until your butt touches the bench)
- Stiff Leg Deadlifts, 20 reps (really push your butt back and lower your body until parallel to ground)
- 3 Way Leg raises, 10 cycles p/s (lye on your side and raise your leg forward, straight up, and back. Make sure you squeeze hard at the top of each raise)
- Single Leg Hamstring Curls on Ball, 20 p/s (Make sure you are lifted into the bridge position before you start curling the ball towards you)
So there it is ladies your Legit Legs workout! Start off with at least one circuit of these exercises. Overtime try to get at least three circuits completed.
