Any recomendations on back stretches?

How do you stretch a tight, injured back?

How's it going nation? A few weeks ago my fiance fell off a horse and now has a back spasm in the center of her back and hasn't been able to work out since. It doesn give her much pain but her back does stay tight and we cant figure out how to stretch it all the way.

Does anyone have any recomendations on how she can stretch? Links to a video would be great as well. Thanks!

No problem, thanks brotha!

Yeah the doctor said she's fine. She just needs to ice it every day and stretch/message it out. She's a belly dancer as well so thats been helping stretch it out but it still tightens up on her so she's not ready for the gym yet.

I'll let you know how she does, can't wait for her to start hitting the weights with me again!

I hate to hear that Joey. Along with Scotts suggestion I would also recommend for her to hang from a pull-up bar for about 30 seconds. She should do this about 4-5 times. Make sure it is a dead hang. This will stretch absolutely every thing in the back. Have her do some of them over hand with a wide grip and some of them under-hand with a close grip.
