Can I use the Rowing Machine every day?

Or the day after an intense day of Biceps/Back exercises

I loosely follow the "Push, Pull, Legs" program. Meaning that I go to the gym every day, and I dedicate one day to push movements, the next day to pull movements and the last day to leg exercises, and then I repeat.

I also use the rowing machine a lot. It is my favorite Cardio exercise. I am not the kind of person that enjoys spending 45 minutes doing low-intensity Cardio, so usually, I either dedicate 10-15 minutes to rowing at high intensity all the way through, with a few breaks, of course, or doing HIIT for 10-15 minutes. After that, I move on to weight lifting.

So my question is: Can I row every day? I know that you shouldn't train the same muscle groups two days in a row, much less every day.

Does the Rowing Machine put that much of a stress on your muscles that they need 48 hours to recover, or is the rowing machine low-intensity enough so that you can row every day? If the answer is no, you cannot do that 7 days a week, every week of the year, is it then alright to do it 6 days of the week? 5?

Or what about the day after an intense day of pull exercises? Let's say that I did hella many pullups, hella many bicep curls and stuff like that, and the day after (leg day) my biceps and back muscles are toast. Is it a bad idea to use the rowing machine, even as a warm-up exercise?

The rowing machine won't necessarilly put too much strain on your muscles, more to the point you would be doing HIIT cardio everyday, which might be counter-productive to your muscle gain goal.

I suggest you do your rowing about 3-4 times a week, and if you REALLY want to use it everyday.. just use it for 5-10 minutes as a light warm-up on the days you aren't doing HIIT.

Also.. instead of 'loosely' following a PPL split, why not just follow the program here on the site? I see your platinum so you could use it 😁 http://muscularstrength.com/Push-Pull-Legs
