This afternoon I was doing dips in my Iron Gym Extrem, (A pull up bar). And when I finish I noticed a pain in my collar bone. Right now after 4 hours still hurting, I have to worry about that? Could I have broken it? Or just it's pain caused for an overload? I'm really worry about that.

Thanks so much.

I felt that before brotha! I'm not really sure about your condition, but in my case when it happen to me... I do the Neck and shoulder streching.. and after a few hours,I feel better.

Do you always do your Streching before workout? If you don't stretch before workout, you'll hurt yourself.

Always start with that because Stretching correctly will increase your flexibility and reduce the risk of injuries caused by lesions of the connective tissues (such as the periosteum) and other nasty things. And always do streching after workout.

I think your connective tissues just pop when you contract your muscle. Try to do the Neck and shoulder Streching again. I hope streching will help your case.

After doing streching.. observe it... if it's still hurt after an hours or days, you may know consult to your doctor.

MERRY CHRISTMAS....!!!

Just only an hours I feel much better, but it took 1 day for full recovery! Sometimes it's all in the head Joan!

Yes! It's a strange pain from the muscle, nerve and bone. It's a variations in the muscle-nerve-bone relationship, or from overuse or strain.Always do Streching every 5 hrs and you'll be fine.

As what I said.. observe it, if that pain continued for many days, consult to your doctor immediately. And don't do weight trainings until you fully recovered because we don't know what your conditions really is.

You could have just stressed the area. Did you keep your elbows back and tight against your body? Maybe when you began to fatigure you flared them out and put a lot of strain in this area?

Either way, im sure after some rest you will be ok. If it were broken, you would know.. it would look different than the other side

I have been searching more and I think that it's exactly a small strain on the clavicular head of the pectoral. With this injury you feel pain in the area but you don't lose mobility and this is actually what it's happenened to me I feel pain but I can move my arm without any problems. Do you think that this could be my injury?

Thanks you.

It's only a variations in the muscle-nerve-bone relationship, or from overuse or strain. Don't force that area, do other workouts instead. Avoid doing dips that cause you strain for a while. Have some rest man and I'm sure you'll be fine. That's all you need. I believe it's not an injury man, if it is an inujry you will suffer to extreme pain. TIME WILL HEAL

Hey everybody, the pain doesn't go away. I'm starting to worrying a lot. Yesterday I went to the doctor and he said that it's possibly a growing 'pain' but I don't think so at all, very disappointed with this answer. The pain started in my left shoulder and now my left shoulder is okay but now my right shoulder hurt much more than my left one... I don't know what to do. I take some photos of my shoulders, clavicles and I saw a difference between my injured shoulder and my no injured one.

Right shoulder ( Injury )

Left shoulder:

(sorry but I don't know why but the image is rotate)

As you can see in my right shoulder you can see an strange thing, I don't know what is it but I'm almost sure that the pain is in this zone...

Thanks for all.
