Hi Scott,

I've been doing your "3 exercises for hardgainers" for each body part trying to put on muscle mass. But whenever I do a shoulder exercise, my delts get worked so hard I can't do another one. i.e., if I do a standing barbell press (overload), I can bang out 4 or 5 sets of 8 to 10 reps. But then I can't do side raises, front raises, etc. Or if I start with the raises, I can't do the presses. Whatever I do, my delts are done after 1 exercise. They're not injured, but there is a sharp kind of pain in one or both when I try to do more. Is this common for delts? Do you have any recommendations to make the delts more durable? Thanks! -Matt
