Music in the gym

How do you organize your tunes (if you do)?

Hi all,

When you're in the gym wrangling the weights or crushing the cardio I know a lot of you like to have music going on.

Do you:

1. Use what the gym has in the background?

2. Make your playlist ahead of time and place it on a loop?

3. Change your tunes on the fly depending on your mood?

I haven't picked up the habit of taking my phone to the gym yet so I'm looking for ideas.

i havent been to a gym in about 5yrs, or longer, but when i did go , it would depend on what is playing in the background, if it was music that i liked then i would here it, but if i am in the mood for something that i wanted to hear, then yes i would make my own playlist of songs and hear what helps me to keep pushing forward., So to answer your it would be 1,2 and 3 lol, it really just depends on you and helps you or what you like Jeff :)

I don't really listen to anything when I train at home. Activate the beast mode from within. When I'm at the gym, the music they play is just background noise. I don't pay much attention to it.

One of the other reasons I brought this up is the memory of an ad spot for fried bologna and Velveeta breakfast sandwiches from a local Hardee's restaurant while I'm there fighting the battle of my bulge. Now I can laugh it off but it was a major temptation at the time.

Always my own music when training due to the lack of music taste at my gym. Only once when they played hardrock i lifted my headphones of. Otherwise always music like Five Finger Death Punch or Soil or Disturbed is played trough my phone. Can´t stand Britney Spears etc.
