Hi Scott, I stumbled upon your pull up for beginners vid on youtube while I'm searching for tips in fitness.
Very good advise, I hope I can personally meet you to ask questions personally as I really need to gear up my health and all.

This is my story why I ended up deciding to enter the fitness path.

I spend a lot of time working, then when I go home, I usually eat and sleep and do video games due to stress and depression, same routine every single day, However, there came a time where my Mom was hopitalized due to GBS (Guillain Barre Syndrome) a very life threatening and life changing illness, nerve damage, tissue tearing and everything else, I was not ready for it, and so is my body as my Mom needs to have a carrier to be able to stand and sit, (she still has not been able to do it alone including walking) and so I thought I had to change the way I live my life, to support my Mom, to be healthy and to be looked up in some way as I have been a victim of bullying before. I wanted all of those to change, but my main goal is for my Mom and for myself, I need to be fit, I miss my old clothes, I miss being a normal person.

P.S
The photo I have uploaded is my 1 week result by doing bicep and tricep exercises my only. I need help on my chest and belly, it's not looking great lol
my question is, do I still have a chance to get a body like you?

Hey @betterme233.

First off I have to say it is great that you are making such a big change to help your mom, as well as yourself. Kudos to you bro. I hope your mom gets better real soon.

And welcome to the site! If you have questions, we can definitely help you out here in the @forums. I'll always do my best to get to them. If you want a more one-on-one experience, I also do Skype consultations if you are interested - http://muscularstrength.com/consultations

You can definitely have that body of your dreams. You just have to put the work in! :-) I do have three 12 week programs here if you want to take a look at those - one is purely home based routines which only requires a pair of dumbbells if that would suit you best.

Let us know if you have any more questions!

You can do anything as long as you set your mind to it! The biggest thing is to not give up if, set reasonable short term goals. If you do that and meet a short term goal, it will motivate you to stick to it and acheve your long term goal. Meet sure you're eating right and putting the work in at the gym or home. Great thing about this site is there's a LOT of good info about eating right to meet your goals! Just go through the site to learn all you can and stay motivated!!!

Keep updating us and hope to see you meet your goals on here!

current progress, managed to lose weight from 195-200 lbs up to 183lbs in two weeks.
I'm trying to condition my shoulders and back now and have them atleast gain muscle, so far this is what I have lol
I'll try my best to be consistent. My arms are waaaay to sore to do workout tomorrow so I'll probably do cardio and crunches for my tummy instead so my arms can rest.
