Hey, so yesterday i did deadlift for the first time, I used a normal sized barbell you would normally use for squatting and benching. And I had 35 kg (77 pounds), on each side, today I feel a soreness in my lower back, it is not a "pain". It's like the soreness you get after training legs, but in the lower, to mid back. Is this normal? Or does this mean I am using bad form? I really won't to do deadlifts, but I would hate to ruin my back beacuse I neglected bad form.

@Batmand500 if you like, you could post a video of your form here in this @forum? That way we can take a look and give you some pointers. If you were only using 35kg, and didn't have bumper plates, there's a chance you wouldn't have been able to get into proper position if the plates were too close to the ground. Check out my deadlift video below as well, but the best way for us to tell you if you're doing something wrong is to see you do the movement.
