Hi!
Dear Scott,
I am Gururaj, I really need an input from an experienced ‘ Not needling ass’ individual. So let me start by what I have done and am currently doing; then my aspired goal.
I just turned 18 recently . My beginning of fitness journey started when I was 16, from your videos with BEfit Hiit cardio level 1 and 2. I was 85 kgs, a fat fuck nerd.I lost about 10 Kgs and was down to 75kg, without any diet changes in about 5 months. Then gave a shot at weight training, and all those phases of newbie( following any workout,no diet,no sense). But, at BB.com saw some dude called Kris Gethin and started following him .School, and working out was crazy, I used to workout like 2.5-3hours in gym and also joined swimming club; which would consume another 2 hectic hours of intense workout.I would call it a learning curve.I used to look upto you, for form and general tips, but still was a noob and broke. After becoming a bit mature and realising that gethin goof is definitely poking his ass or stomach (whatever they do) and is on some juice, I was damn confused.(Looking back, I feel I am lucky to be alive considering my diet).
I was hovering around 67kgs in skinny fat stage. But, my motivation was still over 9000; I have a mentality ‘physique follows function and discipline; so function and focus like a beast and you’ll look like one’ so my primary goal isn’t looking great, rather functioning great I love the Idea of being multi disciplinary fit; swim, run and bike not sport Oriented but Rather me challenging my own body and mind to shell out 100% of its energy in disciplined and dedicated life of hard work. I used to swim about 2.5miles,run 5 miles alternate days and cycle 19 miles on avg every Sunday while continuing a caloric deficit program from BB,com on fat loss. I signed up for a half marathon; shit scared as farthest I ran was still 2.5miles. But, I hit a plateau and wasn’t progressing in any sorts; rather I was getting tired.(Looking back Surprisingly, I still didn’t die).
I left swimming and biking and just focused on running. School was taxing, running was irregular. But I completed my half marathon last year in October, with 2hrs 20 min; I couldn’t even run a mile year ago from that point and this was a freaking achievement.
So I realised my potential and I suppose limits, I then looked up for strength training like powerlifting and now I love it. I am currently following this guy called Jonnie candito and his linear 6 week hypertrophy program after a basic introductory 6week period while still running 2.5 miles 3-4 times a week and HIIT sprints 2 times. My strength has increased a lot from past but I have hit a plateau. Last, 48 hours I spent listening to your bible of videos and formulating my plan. Believe me man,I would’ve followed your programs; but I am like legit broke so your videos is everything for me.
I still want to perform all three activities; swim, run and bike while still increasing my strength. My weight is 68kg,5’7, 15%BF(skinny fat), and I did all the caloric calculations and formulated my macros for the goal of lean bulking from your guidance. 1.5 gram protein per lbs is not possible; so I calculated for 1 gram per lbs basis. In all this fucked up shit, I am vegetarian and broke to afford whey so lol yeah!. I am planning to incorporate such vegetarian carbs sources which are high in protein as well so as to compensate the lack of protein like:pulses, grains etc.
So dear Scott, if you’ve read this far (it’s a #miracle and #gainsforJesus) I needed your input on overall factors, specifically;should I have a goal to train like a triathlete and powerlifter? (which I really want to do) Or realise my limits? And if so,how should I approach my training from that available source of Candito? And what do you think about my diet approach I’ve mentioned?

Please do have a look, if you have some time and do guide me Scott, you are really a lot experienced and mature than majority of people I’ve come across; and seriously all I need is guidance from someone like you.
Thank you! ïŠ
